ReNEW was one of the selected demonstrator projects during the 2023 edition of the Danube Port Days event, held from 23-24 November 2023 at thinkport VIENNA – smart urban logistics.
The Danube Port Days, initiated by DAPhNE and successfully continued by DIONYSUS, have become a must-attend event for the IWT community in the Danube Region and beyond. This year’s event was organised by Pro Danube in cooperation with the Green Inland Ports Study, MultiRELOAD, and Innovation Action SYNERGETICS projects, with the valued support of the Danube Ports Network.
Our consortium partners, Andrea Hrzic from Magellan Circle, and coordinator Nik Delmeire from European Inland Waterway Transport Platform, represented ReNEW during the event, particularly at the exhibition organised as part of the cruise dinner. There, they had the opportunity to experience the Danube waterway in real-time.
The event provided a transnational platform for decision-makers, experts, and the IWT sector to discuss key aspects related to port development issues. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with experts, explore the potential of Danube Ports, and learn about innovative european-funded projects like the PLOTO project, MultiRELOAD, Synergetics, and ReNEW!
